Security Engineer

We search

As Security Engineer, you are responsible for the security, study and design of the infrastructure, improvement and technical support with your colleagues.

You use your security expertise to assist the customer (s) to implement the necessary security measures.

You are in charge of monitoring the alerts and taking the necessary actions to limit the impact to the customer (s).

You provide an optimal security design, keeping alert to the basic rules regarding security and the recommendations in this regard.

You implement the security projects with regard to the customers needs.

You are responsible for the operational management and security of the infrastructure (monitoring, management, maintenance, performance testing, reporting, implementation of new features, upgrades, etc).

You also provide recommendations to continuously improve the security infrastructure and keep up to date with the latest security developments.

Profile

You already have a solid experience (minimum 3 years) as Security Engineer.

You have a diploma of higher education or university degree or equivalent to experience.

You have a good practical experience of the following technologies:

Penetration testing, Vulnerability scanning Firewalls (Watchguard, Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, Paloalto, Bluecoat, KEMP Load Balancer, Barracuda, F5, AVI ...) Endpoint protection (IDS / IPS) VPN (IPSec, SSL) Encryption technologies (PKI, Certificate, Algorithms ...) Scripting (bash, python, PowerShell); Subnet, DNS, VLANs and other network routing methods Known protocols such as TCP / IP, UDP IPSEC, HTTP / HTTPS, routing protocols ... Monitoring tools (Nagios / PRTG, SCOM) System Management, Platform Hardening (Red Hat, Debian, Windows); Virtual infrastructure Microsoft System Center products

You preferably have one or more certification (s) (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, SSCP ...)

You are Dutch or French speaking mother tongue with a good knowledge of the other language and English.
